Passive Sonar

i cradle your face in my memory

laughing eyes and hands that seek

when roads wind and a blind spot

finds the swerve of lonely times

the facets of shimmering blue

that told me truth of love

and true that bursts from dust

in a subatomic trust

your heart with my reflection

the recollection toggled close

yourself of kisses tasting

cinnamon traces on your lips

Most of human suffering stems from the false belief that we are unworthy of being loved deeply for who we truly are. So we choose relationships that prove the lie of unworthiness to ourselves. Once you see above the waterline, you choose differently. Clarity is born from a lack of disparity.
